ABOUT LDSGroup

LDSGroup was founded in 2002 by Jeff Kobil and Richard Vergara. Recognizing the changing direct marketing landscape, we formed a company to bring a unique set of services to clients looking for new ideas and new ways to meet their goals. Unlike other list service firms, LDSGroup is not a list manager nor do we operate a service bureau. Our business model calls for us to maximize our resources and bring "best in class" vendors to help our clients find marketing solutions.

When you boil it down to the very basics, LDSGroup provides our customers with the very best prospects available to generate new business. At LDSGroup, we go well beyond list brokerage. We are consultants and advisors who help our clients meet their goals in multiple media. We take the time to not only understand your strategy, but to understand the resources available in the market that will work the best for you.

We bring a unique set of services to help support our clients' marketing efforts. Whether it's traditional direct mail or digital services, LDSGroup will help you with new ideas and new ways to successfully expand your audience and grow your business. Keeping our clients informed about industry issues and best practices guidelines is our focus for actively participating in the following organizations:

  • Direct Marketing Association (DMA)

  • Business-to-Business Council
  • Circulation Council
  • List and Database Council
  • Data Innovators Group (formerly List Leaders)
  • Non-profit Federation
  • Direct Marketing Association of Long Island
  • Direct Marketing Club of New York
  • Hudson Valley Direct Marketing Association
  • National Catholic Development Conference
  • Specialized Information Publishers Association

INNOVATION IN CIRCULATION FORUMS

Twice a year, publishing professionals are invited to participate in an informal discussion of industry issues and trends, hosted by Brian Kurtz of Boardroom. These sessions are co-sponsored by our partners at SRDS.

The turnout is always good, and the discourse is candid and spirited. It's the only forum where circulation professionals can engage their peers at other companies and find out what's working, what's not, and what's on the horizon, including both traditional direct and new digital media. Our next session is scheduled for November 18, 2010.
